We live and learn, that’s how we roll on the vast cyberspace landscapes. Wise people know better than to say something “I’d never” or “Not me”; we’re always changing and our opinions are as ever-flowing like water. I know this may not sound like the brightest demonstration of the principle, but do indulge me as I put forth my reasoning with bingo
as an example. You see, I used to think that’s a stupid game that only old ladies ever take interest in. I used to think it was an absolutely boring and mindless game. Yet, while I still think it’s mindless (in the best possible sense), by no means do I think it’s boring… not like this, anyway:

In the past few days I’ve happened com come across a bunch of nice-looking bingo sites
, and a friend of mine talked me intro playing some. Well, as it turns out, I quickly picked up on the free bingo thrill, and even though I’m unlikely to become a serious player (serious sucks) – I have indeed learned how to enjoy this fun and simple game! And no, I no longer think it’s just a game for old ladies, although I now understand why old people get into it. There’s really much strategical considerations to keep in mind, it’s just a matter of watching for the right numbers. In a world ripe with highly complex games of wit and focus, I’ve actually realized how playing some bingo can become a soothing experience. Of course, there are also greedy people who figure it’s a way to get rich… but I guess there’s always people like that, everywhere! To each, his own!

If you think that online dating is for losers, don’t worry about it. In fact, to be honest – I used to think just the same; in the meanwhile I’ve been proved wrong, and who knows… maybe someday you too will change your mind on the subject matter. You see, in my way of seeing things, people are better off looking for romantic dates in online singles specialized websites, which is a filtered environment that supports and promotes the whole righteous courtship thing, rather than doing going on cray dates through websites such as MySpace.com or Craig’s List, where anyone can pretend he’s anything, and God knows with what purpose in mind.

I’m just saying, if people feel like meeting someone online, there’s nothing wrong with that! It’s a venue same as any other, such as nightclubbing or going to the library. Nowadays the Internet is just a place same as any other to meet new people and pursue romantic interests. However, I think it’s best to do such thing in proper websites, such as
Perfect Match, or Date.com. Or maybe the well-known Friend Finder, as well! These websites are in the virtual romance business, which means they profit if people effectively find what they’re looking for! Guess what, we’re living in a consumerist society so it pretty much means you get what you pay for. So cheers to that! Just go out and get romantic, either online or offline – or both!

When it comes to games, life is my favorite. Regardless, it’s always nice playing some videogames for a virtual type of gaming experience. Sometimes, I enjoy just kicking back in front of my computer, turn up the speakers and get immersed in some kind of game. I mostly prefer adventure games, especially online adventures – the so-called MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game).

The coolest thing about games such as World of Warcraft, Warhammer, Final Fantasy XI and similar titles, is that besides providing a captivating visual experience, they’re based in worlds inhabited with multitudes of human players scattered across the gold old green earth. When you feel like taking the edge off your daily routine, these kind of games provide an amazing escape as well a unique environment for computer-mediated human interaction.

There’s something interesting about MMORPG’s: many of these games are actually free to download and play. So you might wonder where the developers get their revenue from? The thing is that most of such virtual worlds have their unique currencies, and much like in the real world, money is power when it comes to online role-play. Yeah, I know… once you get past the adolescence phase, staying at home becomes a progressively more enticing option. This is particularly true once you’ve moved out of your parental home, and also if you’re a big mouse potato – the kind who gets click out of clicking around the Internet until time has slipped by across the night into god forsaken hours. Well, obviously I’m not gonna tell you that’s a bad thing, especially because you’re probably doing so just now while checking out my blog. Regardless, my words of wisdom are thus: make sure you go out and have some fun, once in a while.
