You see, I’m only a moderate geek, so topics such as the IBM AS400 are usually way too technical to even arouse my interest. Unless, of course, the person I’m discussing the subject matter with so happens to be a drop-dead gorgeous IT girl. Lol, you see where this is going, right?

Yup, to put it simple, I’ve been getting fluent in the technical arts of server maintenance and midrange hardware refurbishing, since this specific girl I’m interest on is quite the technical wizard. There’s just something about a smart girl that makes me go crazy, and usually my macho side usually kicks in and I just have to go and try to prove I’m also a good learner – that’s usually the best way to impress a smart girl.

Well, it turns out all of this efforts have not been in vain; not only did I get her phone number, but I’m also getting her personal assistance in putting down my own basement server. So in a few days I’ll be hosting this blog and my other website straight out from my home! That means (hopefully) a better, more reliable service. Also it hopes I’ll be having a really good company for the near future. Don’t you love it when things get sorted out for the best?
