A whole new paradigm: vacation home rental!

Lately I’ve been thinking about doing some traveling during the Christmas holidays. However, I’m not a big fan of hotels, so I’ve been looking up something I find much more interesting: vacation rental homes. One would think renting a vacation home would be forbiddingly expensive, but it’s actually not quite so! If you manage to round up some good friends, it can be a really good way to spend some quiet vacations in a new place.
This time around I’m planning to visit a lake, such as Lake Las Vegas, Nevada or maybe Lake Havasu, Arizona. I don’t know about you, but I’m a big fan of water, particularly when it’s a clear and quiet surface. You got that right, I think lakes are much more pleasant and soothing than the ocean… but to each his own, I guess!
