Boredom is the brand of people lacking imagination!

Truly, dear reader: Boredom is a disease that mostly afflicts people lacking imagination! Life is out there ready to keep us happy, and sometimes it’s us who fail to get out from our asses and find something entertaining to keep us busy. Here’s a good example: early this week I was starting to get a little depressed because I was on my vacations budget, meaning that I’m now forced to stick around my own neighborhood, rather than traveling far and wide – so much to my heart’s contentment. Fortunately, I did not permit my spirits to go down, and I channeled my energy to something useful and also (surprisingly) entertainment: gardening and home improvement!
And I must say, I’m really diggin’ this whole, and I’m starting to get into it. For example, a few weeks back the expression “Ronseal Does Exactly What It Says on the Tin” wouldn’t mean anything, and right now it evokes so many nice memories (surprisingly enough, that motto is actually very true!). It’s like I’m getting into one of those ZEN things, where I’m really learning to seize the simple things in life and taking it one day at a time. My house now looks better than ever, and I can’t even remember what it means to get bored!
