You should have seen my life insurance salesman act…

Life is a big merry-go-round. Sometimes you think you’re going one way, and when you know it, you’re going the opposite direction. Days ebb and flow and eventually… you’re back on track and you barely realize it. That’s just the way things are, I suppose, and getting older is by no means a straight road. When I was a teenager, I used to make fun of people who got life insurance, and most Halloweens I used to pretend I worked for a life insurance company, and I was really good doing so. I only need a funny hat and an old-fashioned suitcase, and I could get anyone to burst into laughter with my act. Well, as it happened, I must have matured and changed my mind… and today is the day where I got my own *real* life insurance. And i’m actually proud of myself, and it feels quite right having done so. I still think life is a funny thing, however I think there’s nothing wrong with being cautious and planning ahead for the sake of the people who you love.
