Good campers know it best: get prepared before you take off!

Ever since I got my new trekking boots, I’m completely excited in anticipation to my next camping trip. I’m a really big fan of ocasionally getting lost in the wild, but regarless I also enjoy making the necessary preparations to make sure I’m eventually capable of coming back. Well, with that in mind I’m picking up all kinds of mountain gear from the best brands, such as Suunto Vector, Petzl and North Face. After all, when it comes to facing the great wild outdoors, it’s always best to use reliable accessories and garments, because there’s always many things that can go unpredictably wrong!
Myself, I’m a huge fan of the great modern survivor Bear Grylls, and I very much enjoy watching his trick and learning a bunch of survival tricks. You’d be suprised how useful some of those techniques can get, when you’re out on the field! But even that guy (who’s renowned for eating all kinds of bugs and demonstrating how to survive in extreme scenarios) is an apologist of using quality materials as a way to be safe. It doesn’t matter if we’re talking something as simple as a rope: if you get a good one, your chances of getting in trouble are substantially lower than they would be if you took a bad rope. You may think you’re smart for picking the inexpensive rope now, but just wait until you’re dangling from a cliff and your cheap rope starts breaking… then you’ll straight away remember these words!
