Lol. Sometimes I can be a little mean. But not in the worst way, I think. You see, I just found out one of my couple friends is having a baby… and apparently they’re getting shy about it. Not because they don’t want the baby or because they don’t plan to stay together – much the other way around – but simply because they’re shy. Honestly, that kind of attitude really sets me off! They should be celebrating and shouting their happiness to the heavens… but instead they’re going down the low-profile route. Apparently they plan to start telling people just as soon as her belly gets big enough to convey the message on its own. So I’ve decided I’m doing a little prank. I’ve looked up this company called DoodlebugDezigns.com that specializes on birth announcements and well… I’m basically ordering a bunch of baby postcards with the custom message “Don’t tell the parents that you already know because they’re too shy about it… but they’re still lovin’ it”. Well, and that’s it. So, does anyone think I’m going overboard with this kind of reasoning? They’re both close friends of mine and they’re really happy with the idea of having a baby, so I really don’t think this qualifies as stepping the line… I just think there’s no reason to be shy about such wonderful news! I think Mrs. Stork would concur, wouldn’t she?
