Online backup, the future of personal data storage!

Remember back in the old days, the so-called age of the floppy disk? Man, we had it rough back then! Floppies were slow, unreliable and just plain boring. When the news arrived that a new breed of informatic data storage system was to arise, all the people in the land rejoyced with expectation and hope. And EFFECTIVELY, the age of the USB thumb drive surfaced (let’s face it, CD / DVD are a different game; I’m talking data translatation, here: i.e. how people moved their personal computer files around between computers); we’re all much happier now, but let’s face it: USB pen drives are indeed reliable and fast and provide us with good storage capacity… all in a tiny llittle device that we can carry around in our pockets. Then lose them and curse to heavens that USB thumb drives are so exceedingly portable and small they’re actually prone to be lost by their owners.
Ok, so by now you may be wondering where I’m aiming towards with all this crazy talk, right? Well, the thing is that in my opinion, we’re now entering a new age in data storage that might just be as close as it gets to the perfect thing: I’m talking, of course, about online data storage. You just upload your files to the web and retrieve it anytime, anywhere. Granted, you could argue it’s not perfect because you might find yourself without internet connection, in a give scenario. Well, we still can carry our files in a pen drive as backup! But in my opinion, the best way to keep personal computer files safe and readily available from anywhere is signing with an
Online Backup such as iBackup.com! This one is aimed at small businesses, but it’s just the thing for me.
