My hobby: to purchase items to help focus my materialist daydreaming.

I know it sounds dumb, but please indulge my reasoning. It’s actually something I picked up from watching “The Secret”, and it’s not as extravagant as it may sounds at first notice. And I don’t meant to propose I belive doing this kind of thing actually works 100% of the times: I’m just saying it certainly doesn’t hurt, and in the worst case scenario, I end up with some really off-the-wall memorabilia around my house. And a couple of funny stories to tell.

Okay, maybe a practical example will help put my point across. Let’s say my favored daydream of the moment revolved around owning a nice boat, which I could take cruising along the high seas of blue soothing cradling bliss. If I went into the whole “help the universe manifest what you want from the universe”, I’d probably pick up some
Marine Parts, say for example a couple of Mercury Outboard Parts and put it in my special meditative place (my study). Then everyday, I’d spend sometime contemplating this – let’s call it – icon, and meditating on ways I could help the universe to manifest the circumstances through which I could end up owning a boat. See, it’s really not so far-fetched if you really think about it, and I really feel as though getting a physical object to focus upon really helps the mind come up with good ideas! In other words, I do believe in the law of universal attraction, but I think it’s actually just a matter of focusing the mind in just the right way. You should try it someday, I think you’ll be surprised with what you can achieve!
