086 -> Car

I don’t know about you, but myself? When I was a kid, I was totally into sports collectibles, although eventually I suppose I grew out of it. Until recently, that is! Sometimes I get major kicks out of walking down nostalgia lane, so this time around I decided to shell out some fifty bucks to get myself a blast from the past! I used to love trading cards when I was a kid, and as a teenager I even fancied myself as some kind of trading card business-man. Well naturally I was terrible, and now that I think about it, that might just have been the reason I eventually grew disillusioned with buying and selling cards.

I’ve still got some stacks of old cards in my folk’s basement, but it’s mostly leftovers that I never got around to selling when I gave up on that hobby. In all circumstance, one of the coolest things I remember from those days was the event (yeah I always thought of that moment as something ceremonious and reverential.) Anyway, I have this memory of how it was amazing to open up those trading card packs, so I decided to indulge myself and get a full box of those. It’s not gonna be cheap, and some may think about it as a waste of money, but all the while I prefer thinking of such as a little gift to my own inner child. And who knows, maybe I pick up a valuable card or two and get into trading card business a few, just for the sake of it!
