086 -> Car

One of the keys – I think – to lead a happy and fulfilled life is concerned with self-development. And I don’t mean to suggest that people should spend their lives trying to attain an elusive ideal of perfection. In my opinion there is no perfection, and in a strange way that is quite perfect. Otherwise we wouldn’t all have infinite odds for growing and developing new skills. Actually, what I really meant to with “self-development” can probably be better explained as the constant development and acquisition of new skills. Have you ever pause to consider all the amazing and potentially amusing things that you probably have already decided to learn at some point in your life?

I’m not talking ridiculously complex skills – of course – nothing in the lines of getting a working knowledge in quantum physics… well, not unless that’s what works for you of course. I’m actually talking about simple things such as learning a new recipe, or learning how to juggle, or being able to perform a hand-stand for 30 seconds. Or learning how to ride a bike or skateboard (I know there are people out there who can’t, and it’s nothing to be ashamed about) or something seemingly far out like learn to operate cranes. I mean, those are skills you may never really have an awfully practical use for, but it will help make you feel better about yourself! Trust me!
