New dog, new tricks: a whole new age of information!

The other day I came across some mind-blowing statistics that expressed something to the effect that in 2012, 50% of the available jobs didn’t actually exist in the year 2000; furthermore it stated that in the next generation of workers, most people will have at least 5 fields of expertise, in order to match the market demands. This didn’t really come as much surprise, since I’m aware that technological developments keep unfolding in leaps and bounds, but all the while it got me thinking… modern workers are expected to be highly versatile and adaptive; and you know what? That includes you and me, buddy!
If there’s something crucial for young adults who are getting into the modern lines of work, that’s to keep learning new things whenever possible. If you want to make sure you are an asset your employers can’t do without, you must never stop investing in your formation. And that includes developing new skills and signing up for all kinds of formations. Good news is that in this day and age it’s easier that it ever was to develop such diverse proficiency from the confort of your home and using only your spare time, thanks to the advent of online training courses.
For example… it goes without argument how it’s incredibly useful to have some understanding in system engineering nowadays, right? Why not think about becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer? Getting a MCSE training course
will not only help you developing skills that will effectively be useful, you’ll also be making sure you get one step ahead of the crowd, as far as your employers are concerned.
