In modern times, the adverts on most of our screens are designed in such a way that they are quite similar to music videos. Advertising has done away with the dialog laden commercials that were very popular in the past. In its place, advertisers opt for copy lines, very sleek images combined with popular music. In some instances, the adverts have neither actors nor dialog; they instead use music and voice-overs to sell the product.
Following this new trend, Adidas used music and special effects to launch the computerized sneaker referred to as the first intelligent shoe. The television advert directed by Spike Jonze and known as ‘Hello Tomorrow’ incorporates the music of Squeak E. Clean and features Karen O.
